U.S. CUP TASTERS CHAMPIONSHIP

Fast and fun, the U.S. Cup Tasters Competition challenges competitors to test their sensory skills by discerning taste differences in a “triangulation.” Tasters receive sets of three cups where two cups are identical and one is different. Competitors are challenged to taste, smell, recall, and choose the unique cup in each triangulation. The Competitor will have 8 minutes to taste and identify the odd cups in 8 triangulations! The person with the most correct answers in the shortest amount of time wins!

For the 2027 season, the U.S. Cup Tasters Championship will feature Regional Qualifiers leading into the U.S. Cup Tasters National Championship. Competitors will first earn their place through the qualifying events, with top performers advancing to compete for the national title and the opportunity to represent the United States on the world stage.

Regional Qualifier dates and locations, as well as the U.S. Cup Tasters National Championship, will be announced soon.

For the 2025 Season, USCTC will solely take place as a National Championship; there will be no Regional Qualifying Competitions. For the National Event USCTC will be fully open registration.

Cup Tasters is currently the only competition without an established committee. These committees are pivotal for ensuring proper organization and competition success.
